Casey Mize Allows Three Runs Against Angels On Sunday
Casey Mize had trouble keeping hitters off the base paths in Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. Mize pitched five innings and allowed eight hits, one walk and three earned runs while striking out four. He surrendered two home runs in the game. It wasn't a horrible outing, but was still easily his worst outing over the past two months. He'd posted quality starts in eight of his previous nine starts before this one. Mize will take a season-long 3.61 ERA and 1.12 WHIP into his next start against the Houston Astros on Saturday.
