New York Mets starting pitcher Jerad Eickhoff could be in line for some work on Sunday or Monday. Taijuan Walker will be on the bump on Sunday for the series finale against Washington, with Eickhoff available out of the bullpen for a long relief session. However, if Eickhoff isn't needed, then he would be available on Monday, potentially starting Game 2 of the team's doubleheader against Atlanta. The 30-year-old logged eight starts for Triple-A Syracuse this season and is currently sitting on a 5.23 ERA.
