The Los Angeles Rams selected South Carolina linebacker Ernest Jones with the No. 103 overall pick in the third round of the 2021 NFL draft on Friday night. Jones is incredibly long (6-foot-2, 230 pounds) and active in the middle of the football field. He's much better against the run than in the passing game and has the short-area quickness to become a pretty solid coverage linebacker at the next level. Jones has great tackling technique and knows how to lay a good lick on a defender. If he's coached up right and continues to improve, he could be one to monitor in IDP leagues down the road because of his tackling ability and savvy in the run game.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
