The Atlanta Falcons signed free-agent safety Duron Harmon to an undisclosed one-year deal on Thursday. In eight NFL seasons, Harmon has played in 127 games (45 starts) and has recorded 248 tackles (191 solo) with two tackles for loss, 19 interceptions and 33 passes defensed. He spent seven seasons with the New England Patriots and was traded to the Detroit Lions last year. Harmon started in all 16 games for Detroit in 2020 and had a career-high 73 tackles (54 solo) with two interceptions and five passes defensed. He was originally selected in the third round (91st overall) by New England out of Rutgers in 2013.
