Tanner Roark Starting For Blue Jays On Sunday
Tanner Roark will start the team's finale against the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday. Roark was shelled in his first start of 2021 against the Texas Rangers this past Tuesday. He pitched three innings and gave up six hits, including three home runs, on the way to allowing five earned runs. Robbie Ray (elbow) appears likely to make his next start early this coming week and Nate Pearson (groin) is nearing a return as well. Once both players are back, Roark will be moved to the bullpen.
