Buccaneers Working To Retain Ndamukong Suh

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have placed free-agent defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh on their to-do list. The 34-year-old pass-rusher doesn't want to retire, and a deal for the 11-year veteran could come as soon as Wednesday, March 17. Tampa Bay is trying to keep all of their big-name players after winning the Super Bowl over the Kansas City Chiefs last season. If the Buccaneers do re-sign Suh, it'll likely just be for one year. Suh, a three-time first-team All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowler, is obviously no longer in his prime. However, he was still a very important part of the team's dominant defensive line in 2020, recording 44 combined tackles (nine for loss), 19 QB hits, two passes defensed, one forced fumble and six sacks in 16 regular season games.
