Mitchell Trubisky Needs Long Playoff Run
Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky isn't guaranteed to return as the team's starting quarterback in 2021, but that could change if he's able to pull a big upset over the Saints in the wild-card round on Sunday. The Bears declined Trubisky's fifth-year option and traded for Nick Foles before the 2020 season. He won the first two games as the starter but was benched for Foles in Week 3 against the Falcons. Foles was later benched in favor of Trubisky, who led the offense to 30-plus points in four December games to help the team go 3-1 and sneak into the postseason. There have been plenty of growing pains after he was the second overall pick in 2017, and Trubisky has gone 29-21 as a starter in four seasons in Chicago. He won't be very attractive in fantasy lineups on Sunday against one of the toughest defenses in the league in New Orleans. The 26-year-old has thrown for 10,609 yards with 64 touchdowns and 37 interceptions in his four seasons.
