The Chicago White Sox are expected to sign Cuban outfielder Yoelqui Cespedes, the No. 1 international prospect and the younger half-brother of Yoenis Cespedes, for a bonus around $2 million, according to industry sources. The 23-year-old will likely sign on Jan. 15, the first day of the international signing period. He's considered a five-tool player with above-average tools across the board. Cespedes has added 15 pounds of muscle while improving his bat speed and power since he defected from the Cuban National Team in June of 2019. Chicago is also expected to sign right-handed pitcher Norge Vera, who ranks 20th on the international prospect list.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
