Coming off of an impressive win, Marlon Vera was unable to replicate the outcome on Saturday, dropping a decision to the Brazilian legend Jose Aldo. Vera took the second round to even things up at one round each heading into the third and final round. Aldo was able to utilize his ground game to take the bout from Vera 29-28 on all three judges' scorecards. Statistically, Vera actually outproduced Aldo, landing 46 significant strikes (92 total strikes) while failing to land any of the three takedowns he attempted. This was a great test for Vera to see where he is in the UFC. He's still worth considering for your fantasy lineups, depending on the matchup.--Matt Bricker
