Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones (groin) will be unavailable for Monday’s contest versus the Patriots after carrying a questionable designation into the contest due to a groin ailment. Jones had two sacks last week against Baltimore, giving him 3.5 through his first three games this year. His absence should pave the way for rookie Tershawn Wharton to move into the starting lineup, with Jones’ missing presence likely to loom large in the interior. Having been named a Pro Bowler for the first time in his career last season, Jones has already forced two fumbles and made 12 combined tackles to kick off 2020. His next chance to return will come in Week 5 versus Las Vegas.--Jesse Borek
