Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Jay Bruce (quad) was activated off of the 10-day injured list on Friday afternoon. The 33-year-old has not appeared in a game since Sept. 5. He is not in the team's starting lineup for Game 1 of their doubleheader against the Toronto Blue Jays, but he may serve as the designated hitter for the second contest. Either way, Bruce has little fantasy relevance for the remainder of the season, especially in mixed league formats.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
