Cody Durden came out of the first round like a house on fire, taking a dominating 10-8 round on the judges' scorecards. However, he was unable to sustain the momentum, dropping the second and third rounds to his opponent on the scorecards. Durden did walk out of this weekend's UFC event with an extremely tough opponent. The ATT Atlanta product only landed 36 significant strikes but landed a grand total of 95 strikes. He went for a massive number of takedowns (13) but only landed two. It should be noted that Durden also took the fight on extremely late notice and will likely be given another shot with a full camp.--Matt Bricker
