Starting from the pole, Hendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott finished eighth in Sunday's Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Elliott led his first laps at Atlanta, pacing the field for 26 circuits until the competition caution. After losing a couple of spots on the ensuing pit stop, Elliott could never drive his No. 9 back to the front. Elliott was decent, running in the top 10 all day, but lacked the race-winning speed he had a couple of weeks ago in Charlotte. After ten races, Elliott sits third in the points standings with a win, four top-fives, and six top-10's.--John Pitucci - RotoBaller
