The New England Patriots and safety Patrick Chung agreed to a two-year extension through the 2023 season on Wednesday, according to sources. Chung will get a $3 million signing bonus and is due up to $12.8 million over the next four years as one of the most reliable players for New England's defense. The 32-year-old will be even more important to the team's secondary in 2020 after they traded Duron Harmon to the Lions in the offseason. Chung has been with the Pats for 10 of his 11 seasons in the NFL and had 51 tackles (38 solo) and three passes defensed in 13 games (12 starts) last season. Last year was just the third time in his career where he failed to pick off a pass.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
