Austin Ekeler Agrees To Four-Year Deal

The Los Angeles Chargers and restricted free-agent running back Austin Ekeler agreed to a four-year, $24.5 million deal on Friday, according to sources. The deal includes $15 million in guarantees. With Melvin Gordon likely gone in free agency, Ekeler will become the Bolts unquestioned lead back in 2020 and beyond. It doesn't mean they won't look for an additional back behind him, but he'll truly be a high-end RB1 in fantasy moving forward, especially in leagues that reward a point per catch. The 24-year-old can do it all, as he ran 132 times for 557 yards and three touchdowns and also had a whopping 92 receptions for 993 yards and eight more touchdowns in 2019.
