With their moms watching from the stands, the Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Nashville Predators by a score of 4-1 on Tuesday night. When Sebastian Aho found the back of the net it gave him his 10th goal in the past nine games. His 34 goals in 59 games is a career-high. Andrei Svechnikov also bent the twine for his fifth goal and 12th point in the last 10 games. His 24 goals are a career-high. Justin Williams broke a seven-game pointless stretch with two assists. He now has five points in 11 games since his late start to the season. Jordan Staal scored his first goal after an 11-game scoreless stretch. Petr Mrazek had his second strong start in as many games and turned aside 28 of 29 shots. For Nashville, Ryan Johansen scored the lone goal, which was just his 12th of the season. --Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
