The Houston Astros are expected to sign Cuban outfielder Pedro Leon for around $4 million when the new international signing period opens on July 2, according to sources. The 22-year-old dominated the Cuban national league in 2018 before he defected and would be one of the international class' highest-paid players. The Astros have a pretty solid outfield crew at the major league level right now, but Leon would provide excellent depth down on the farm and could be an option in the big leagues in another year or two.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
