Colorado Avalanche goaltender Pavel Francouz will take the crease as his team faces the New York Islanders on Long Island on Monday. The 29-year-old is getting his first start in 10 days, last playing in a 6-4 loss (a start in which he allowed five goals on 32 shots) to the Minnesota Wild on December 27th. With fellow Avs netminder Philipp Grubauer healthy again, Francouz has been relegated to backup duties despite posting 11 wins, a 2.41 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage in 15 appearances on the season. He can be marked as a very strong stream candidate for the time-being and should get the start on most fantasy rosters on Monday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
