Streaking forward Max Pacioretty scored twice to help Vegas hold off Philadelphia in a 5-4 victory. He now has 15 points in the past 10 games. Pacioretty also has 26 shots over the past six games. Veteran center Paul Stastny has been suffering through a season-long slump but he had two helpers. He now has just eight assists and 18 points on the season. Defenseman Shea Theodore had a goal and an assist. He has five points in the last three games. An injury to Jonathan Marchessault forced Vegas to play defenseman Jon Merrill at wing and he scored his first goal of the season. For the Flyers, Sean Couturier had two goals and an assist. He has 10 points in his last 10 games. Claude Giroux scored two points and now has 30 on the season, well off his usual pace.
