It’s been a modest season to date for Jake DeBrusk but he had a big night on Sunday to help the Boston Bruins top the Buffalo Sabres by a score of 3-2. The winger had two power-play goals and five of his 11 goals have now come with the man advantage. He’s on pace to break 40 points for the third straight season but has yet to become the consistent offensive force expected when he was drafted 14th overall in 2015. Fellow winger David Pastrnak also had a strong night with a goal and an assist. That gave him two or more points in three straight games and 12 points in the past seven games. He’s on pace for more than 50 goals and 100 points. Journeyman forward Steven Kampfer played in just his sixth game this season and had two power-play assists. On the losing side, defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen had a goal and an assist. --Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
