Miguel Rojas Beginning Rehab Assignment Friday

Miami Marlins shortstop Miguel Rojas (hamstring) will begin his rehab assignment with High-A Jupiter on Friday and is scheduled to play five innings. The 30-year-old has been out most of August but could return to the Fish before the end of the month. Rojas is hitting a respectable .289/.344/.384 but lacks power (four homers) and doesn't run much either (six stolen bases). That makes him really only useful in NL-only leagues while hitting in a weak Marlins lineup.
