Jonathan Loaisiga Bounces Back In Defeat
Jonathan Loaisiga, who just returned from an extended injury absence, bounced back in a very positive way. After getting battered last Thursday in his return, the 24-year-old fired 2 2/3 shutout innings, surrendering just one hit and two walks while striking out two. His 40-pitch was a step in the right direction as the Yankees begin to essentially hold tryouts for postseason reliever spots. Loaisiga could additionally serve as a starter at some point this season.
