Alex Wood Scheduled For Rehab Start Saturday
Cincinnati Reds pitcher Alex Wood (back) has yet to make his debut with the team since his trade from the Dodgers last December. He suffered a lower back strain in spring training and has had multiple setbacks since. Now, however, he is slated to make his first rehab start of the year on Saturday with Triple-A Louisville. Wood was a solid starter for the Dodgers last year, going 9-7 with a 3.68 ERA and 1.21 WHIP. Owners in NL-only leagues and 14+ team leagues should monitor the rehab start and follow updates on Wood as he could be a good speculative add in another week or so if he doesn't suffer another setback.
