New York Islanders right wing Jordan Eberle agreed to a five-year contract extension with an Average Annual Value (AAV) of $5.5 million per season, according to The Athletic's Arthur Staple. That's a fairly reasonable deal for Eberle, who is coming off a respectable 19 goals with 37 points across 78 games, and he was a force in the postseason, too. He apparently likes what he sees from head coach Barry Trotz and general manager Lou Lamoriello and wants to be a part of the future on the Island. He isn't a bad late-round pick on Draft Day heading into the 2019-20 fantasy season in most pools.--Daniel Dobish
