Trevor Williams Leaves Start Due to Right Side Discomfort
Pittsburgh Pirates starter Trevor Williams was removed from Thursday nights 4-3 loss to the Padres after 3 2/3 innings due to discomfort on his right side. Before leaving the game, Williams had allowed just one run, on two hits while striking out five. The Pirates will update his status on Friday. If he requires a DL stint, top prospect Mitch Keller could be in line for a promotion.
