Giants' Shaun Anderson To Make Big League Debut Wednesday
The San Francisco Giants are calling up starting pitcher Shaun Anderson to make his Major League debut on Wednesday against the Toronto Blue Jays. The 24-year-old has made seven starts for Triple-A Sacramento this year and has posted a 2-1 record with a 4.11 ERA. Across 58 appearances in the minor leagues, he's 19-14 with a 3.87 ERA with an 8.2 K/9. Anderson makes for an intriguing streaming option against a Toronto Blue Jays team that is currently tied for the 4th-worst team in the MLB at a 16-24 record and are tied for the 3rd-lowest amount of runs scored in the league at 141.
