Austin Meadows Hits Homer In Return From Injured List

Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run Friday in his return from a stint on the injured list due to a thumb injury. If fantasy managers were worried about him continuing his hot start, they shouldn’t be any longer. Meadows has rewarded his fantasy managers with a .359 batting average, .432 on-base percentage, seven home runs, and three stolen bases so far this year. If you bought while he was on the injured list, congratulations because it’ll be hard to buy in even after just one game back. Expect Meadows to continue hitting at the top of a good Rays lineup and producing a very nice power and speed combination.
