Xander Bogaerts Hits Grand Slam

Boston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts put the White Sox away with a grand slam in the eighth inning to go ahead 9-2. Fantasy managers would like to see him improve on his .264 batting average, but shouldn’t complain about his six homers, 22 runs, and 22 RBI so far. Bogaerts should also be expected to get going on the base paths as Boston is among the top-10 base stealing teams this season. This projects to be a strong hitting week for the Red Sox as they visit Camden Yards to face the Orioles and then go back to Fenway for a series against the Mariners.
