Matthew Fitzpatrick entered the final round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational with the 54-hole lead, but couldn't hold off a surging Francesco Molinari for the API title. The young Englishman hung tough Sunday by grinding out a one-under par 71 to finish at 10-under for the tournament, two strokes shy of Molinari's winning 12-under score. The 24-year-old has already won five times on the European Tour, but has struggled to breakthrough in the United States. His second-place finish at Bay Hill was just his second top-10 finish on the PGA Tour. Fitzpatrick will look to keep the momentum going at this week's PLAYERS Championship, where he has missed the cut in two of the last three years. --Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
