Winnipeg Jets goaltender Laurent Brossoit allowed just one goal on 29 shots in Friday's 8-1 road victory against the Carolina Hurricanes. The Jets staked him to a 4-0 lead through the first 20 minutes and Brossoit set it on cruise control the rest of the way. He moved to 12-5-2 with a 2.45 goals-against average and .929 save percentage across 17 starts and 19 appearances. He has struggled a bit since the All-Star break, posting a 3.34 GAA and .897 save percentage in five starts and six appearances. Perhaps this big outing will snap him back into form.--Daniel Dobish
