Calgary Flames center Mikael Backlund posted a goal with an assist and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 4-2 win against the New York Islanders. It was his second straight game with those numbers, and he has managed two goals and five points with a plus-5 rating during his current three-game point streak. The three-game run comes on the heels of a five-game scoreless skid which tied a season worst. He'll look to keep it cooking against the visiting Anaheim Ducks on Friday. Backlund is worthy of fantasy consideration in deeper seasonal pools, and he isn't a bad low-cost DFS option while running hot.--Daniel Dobish
