The New York Giants are unlikely to draft Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray because of his lack of size at 5-foot-10. Some scouts and executives are convinced that Murray is a first-round talent, while others are skeptical because of his small stature. The Giants, Jaguars and the Broncos could be looking for quarterbacks in the top 10 picks and Ohio State's Dwayne Haskins, Missouri's Drew Lock and Duke's Daniel Jones are the only consensus first-rounders in a weak class. A team source said Murray is "probably a little too small" for the Giants, as they prefer to stick with established measurables for a prototypical QB. New York hasn't had a starting quarterback under six feet tall since 5-foot-11 Gary Wood went 0-6 in 1966. Murray is super athletic and is better off making plays outside the pocket. His height will be an obstacle to overcome. It doesn't mean he won't be a good NFL quarterback, but he'll need to use his legs plenty to be successful at the next level.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
