Adam Long won the 60th Annual Desert Classic Sunday. It was the 31-year-old's first career victory on the PGA Tour. Long played almost flawlessly over the weekend, logging rounds of 63 and 65. He birdied the 72nd hole of the tournament to finish one shot clear of Phil Mickelson and Adam Hadwin. It is a life-changing victory for Long, a player that entered the week ranked 205th out of 218 players in the FedEx Cup standings. With the win, Long pocketed $1.1 million, earned an invitation to the Masters, and gained exempt status on the PGA Tour. --Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
