Jacquizz Rodgers Vultures Peyton Barber's Day

Buccaneers third-down running back Jacquizz Rodgers stole the production from starting back Peyton Barber on Sunday. Rodgers didn't exactly usurp Barber but certainly was more effective throughout the game. Barber's inability to operate in open-space as a pass-catcher hurts his value. Rodgers is more fit for the 2-minute offense Tampa ran towards the end of the game. Rodgers ended the day with seven catches for 55 yards and a rushing touchdown while Barber rushed 17 times for just 43 yards. Hopefully, Barber wasn't trusted in most fantasy championships against a tough Cowboys defense. These unfortunate scenarios exemplify why running back committees are best to avoid, despite most of the league trending towards it.
