San Jose Sharks defenseman Erik Karlsson was back in Ottawa for the first time since his big offseason trade and the former Senators captain didn't have a happy return in a 6-2 loss. He had nine shots in the game, but couldn't generate any points and ended it with a minus-two rating. Karlsson had a brief hot spell in November, collecting eight points in five games, but he's now gone pointless in four straight games. Despite playing on a top team, he's minus-11 for the season. Karlsson will look to bounce back on Sunday in Montreal. He has 32 points in 40 career games against the Canadiens. --Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
