Carolina Panthers wide receiver Torrey Smith (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday night against the Steelers. It'll be Smith's third straight missed game. The all-or-nothing veteran receiver belongs on the waiver wire. Rookie D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel will continue to benefit in the passing game. Moore has more upside as the team's No. 2 receiver behind Devin Funchess and will be in play as a WR3 on Thursday.--Keith Hernandez
