Brendan Steele is slated to tee it up in this week's Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. Steele will bring some positive momentum to Las Vegas, as he is coming off his best performance since February. The slumping Steele broke through for a T14 in the recent CJ Cup at Nine Bridges, snapping a string of 12 consecutive starts without a top-45 finish. The veteran was top-10 in the CJ Cup field in both driving accuracy and greens in regulation. He will try to continue his steady play at TPC Summerlin, a course where he's had decent results in the past. Steele has made the cut in three of his last four trips to Las Vegas, but has failed to finish inside the top-25 at the Shriners. Despite his recent play in the CJ Cup, Steele remains nothing more than a DFS dart throw this week. --Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
