Buffalo Sabres forward Jeff Skinner tallied three assists against Montreal on Thursday, with two of those coming on the power play. Skinner's productive game on Thursday gives him a four-game point streak in which he has scored eight points. His recent offensive explosion has coincided with his return to the top line, as he has a pair of three-point games to his name since being reunited with Jack Eichel. In addition to the jump in point production, Skinner is finally reaching his typical shot production rates. Through the first seven games, Skinner was shooting 2.43 shots per game but has increased that average to 3.67 shots per game in the last three, which compares well to his 3.37 shots per game rate from last year. The arrow is pointing up for Skinner and his slow start to the season is firmly behind him.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
