Travis Zajac Nets Game-Winner Against Oilers

New Jersey Devils center Travis Zajac recorded two goals, including the game-winner, in New Jersey's season-opening win over the Oilers. Zajac is coming off of a sub-par season in which he scored only 26 points in 62 games, but his strong start to this season provides some reason to believe that he can return to the 0.5 points per game pace that he has over the last five seasons. Despite playing on New Jersey's third line, Zajac received as much time on the power-play as any of the other forwards. That usage will make Zajac occasionally useful in fantasy pools, but more likely only in daily formats when a matchup can be exploited.
