Aaron Altherr Crashes Into Wall, Leaves Game Early
Aaron Altherr (knee, toe) left the game early on Monday with a right big toe sprain and a bruised right knee after crashing into the outfield wall. Altherr was hitless with two strikeouts in his two plate appearances before departing the contest. He has had a brutal season, hitting just .181/.295/.333 with eight home runs and 38 RBI in 104 games. With the regular season finale on Sunday, there's a chance that Altherr's 2018 season is over.
