Chicago Bears rookie linebacker Roquan Smith has his rookie contract in the rearview mirror and has reported to training camp. Smith, the team's first-round pick, signed a four-year, $18.4 million deal that includes a fifth-year option. The sticking point was whether Smith's guaranteed money can be voided by the team if he was slapped with a suspension due to the new tackling rule. Smith has been working out on his own and has stayed in shape. He has joined the team for joint practices with the Broncos ahead of their second preseason game. Smith should have enough time to get up to speed in order to start in Week 1. He's expected to be an every-down linebacker right away, giving him immediate appeal in IDP leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
