Jason Dufner fired rounds of 70,74,79 and 69 at the U.S. Open, finishing in a share of 25th place. Dufner was right in the thick of things on Thursday. His even-par 70 placed him in fifth place at the end of the round, one shot back of the four-way tie for first place. Dufner's four-over 74 on Friday caused him to slip back slightly, ending the day in a share of 14th place but still within striking distance of the title. Unfortunately for Dufner, his nine-over par 79 on Saturday ended all hope for the 41-year-old American. With the top 25 showing at the U.S. Open, Dufner has now recorded five top-25 finishes in his last seven U.S. Open appearances. Dufner is not in this week's Travelers Championship field and will make for a boom-or-bust DFS option going forward. --Spencer Aguiar - RotoBallerRead More News
