White Sox Claim Dustin Garneau Off Waivers
The Chicago White Sox have claimed catcher Dustin Garneau off waivers from the Oakland Athletics on Friday in wake of the Welington Castillo performance-enhancing drug suspension news. Garneau, 30, was a 19th-round draft pick of the Rockies back in 2009. Garneau will serve as organizational depth at catcher for the White Sox going forward. He is a career .192 hitter over 82 games played in parts of three different seasons. Garneau can be safely ignored in all fantasy formats for now.
