Colorado Rockies setup man Jake McGee struggled mightily against the Mets on Friday, and it almost cost his team the game. McGee faced two batters in the ninth inning of an 8-5 game, and he promptly gave up a double and RBI single. He was replaced by Wade Davis who also struggled, but Davis eventually closed out the game. McGee has only allowed runs in two of his last nine appearances, but when he’s been off, he’s been way off. This is why the usually dependable reliever is sporting a 5.84 ERA so far on the season. He should still be pretty dependable, but owners should be prepared that McGee appears to be prone to meltdowns this year.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
