Toronto Blue Jays infielder Yangervis Solarte just will not stop hitting. In the first game of a doubleheader against the Cleveland Indians on Thursday, Solarte finished 5-for-6 with a home run, a double, two runs scored, six RBI and a walk. He didn’t pick up five hits in the second game of the twin bill but was nearly just as good, going 3-for-4 with another home run, another double, two runs scored and an RBI. Solarte had been filling in mostly at third base in the absence of the injured Josh Donaldson, but he is more likely to be playing second base in place of the injured Devon Travis with Donaldson back. Solarte is playing too well to keep his bat out of the lineup and he should be owned everywhere while he’s hitting this way.--John Smith
