Kenta Maeda Gets No-Decision Despite Another Great Outing

Los Angeles Dodgers starter Kenta Maeda delivered his third solid outing of the year on Tuesday against the Marlins but got a no-decision when the Dodgers failed to give him any kind of run support. Maeda pitched six innings of one-run ball, giving up four hits, striking out seven and walking only one. One of those hits was a home run by J.T. Realmuto, which was the only earned run on the night. It was the second quality start in a row for Maeda, though this one went for naught. He's been making a solid case for himself to remain in the rotation. Look for him to continue rolling when he faces the Giants on Sunday.
