Stephen Strasburg Gets Loss In Typically Solid Outing

Washington Nationals starter Stephen Strasburg showed why, in fantasy anyway, wins and losses aren't a good measure of a performance. Players in quality starts leagues could enjoy Strasburg's outing on Saturday where he went seven innings, striking out 10 batters, walking two and hitting one with a pitch. He gave up only five hits, but two were solo home runs (to Joc Pederson and Enrique Hernandez) which were his only earned runs. He was ultimately outdueled by Hyun-Jin Ryu, who shut out the Nationals over seven innings. But Strasburg continues to be among the sport's elite pitchers. He'll next take the mound against the Diamondbacks at home on Saturday.
