Japanese golfer Satoshi Kodaira will be making his first start at the Arnold Palmer Invitational this week, and just his third start on the PGA Tour this year. Ranked No. 44 in the world, Kodaira primarily plays on the Japan Golf Tour, where he has six wins in his career. His best finish in the states is a T46 at the 2017 U.S. Open, and he has one missed cut and a 54th-place finish in his two starts this season. He shouldn't be considered a threat to contend this week, and just playing the weekend should be viewed as a success for him.--cmangano
