DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (2/2/18): NBA DFS Lineups

There was somewhat of a small slate last night, but we're back to a larger Friday slate, which is the case most weeks. There are a few teams that should be attacked tonight, such as the New Orleans Pelicans, who are still trying to figure their new rotation out.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/2/18. I will break down the best plays at each position based on price versus projected production. I will also mention some GPP plays to consider at each position as well.

As always, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @BalesSJustin with any questions or comments you may have. Let's get to it!

DraftKings DFS Guards

Devin Booker - PG/SG, vs UTA ($7,600)

Booker has been cold recently, hitting value in only one of his last five games, but he was able to score 52.25 fantasy points in that one game. Booker's price tag took a major hit from his last game, though, dropping $900. That's too large of a discount to completely ignore. There is also talk that Booker will see more time at point guard because of the injury to Isaiah Canaan. He gets a tough matchup against the Utah Jazz, but Booker will see a usage rating over 30% tonight, making it tough to avoid him in tournaments for a discounted price tag.

E'Twaun Moore - SG/SF, at OKC ($4,700)

The Pelicans team is a bit wacky since the injury to DeMarcus Cousins and trade for Nikola Mirotic. It is unknown at this point if Mirotic is going to play tonight, but Moore will be locked into big minutes regardless. He is averaging 22.8 fantasy points per game over his last five games, and he has flashed upside over that span, as well. He gets a solid matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight, and this game should be fairly high scoring. Moore relies fairly heavily on scoring, making him a good option in this type of game. He can be used in all leagues because of his low price tag.

Other Guards to Consider: Damian Lillard, Jrue Holiday, Victor Oladipo, Courtney Lee, JJ Redick

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Anthony Davis - PF/C, at OKC ($11,400)

Davis is going to quickly turn into a fantasy darling with DeMarcus Cousins out for the season. In his last two games without Cousins, Davis is averaging 24.0 points, 15.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 3.5 blocks, and 1.5 steals per game. He was able to score 61.25 and 60.75 fantasy points in those games, and his price tag is still a bit too low. He gets a tough matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but this game is still expected to be fairly high scoring. Davis is a player that can contribute in each of the five categories, and it would be wise to utilize him while his price tag is still a bit too low.

Larry Nance Jr. - SF/PF, at BKN ($5,000)

Nance has cooled off a bit recently, but he has still scored 25+ fantasy points in four of his last six games. He has been playing minutes in the mid-20s, posting efficient numbers that have allowed him to hit or exceed value on a near nightly basis. He gets a great matchup against a fast paced Brooklyn Nets team, allowing Nance to see extra opportunities for points and peripheral stats. He still comes with a relatively cheap price tag, and Nance can be used in all leagues.

Other Forwards to Consider: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Paul George, T.J. Warren, Dante Cunningham, James Johnson

DraftKings DFS Centers

Dwight Howard - C, vs IND ($9,200)

Howard has been playing at an elite level recently, scoring 40+ fantasy points in each of his last 10 games. Over that span, he is averaging 47.6 fantasy points per game, while double doubling in each of those games. Tonigh, he gets a great matchup against the Indiana Pacers, who rank 29th in the NBA against centers this season. Howard has also been a significantly better option at home this season, and he can be used in all leagues tonight.

Other Centers to Consider: Steven Adams, Joel Embiid, Rudy Gobert
