DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (4/10/17): NBA DFS Advice

This is it, the final three days of the NBA regular season. The playoff race is still underway for a few teams, and I'm going to be looking at some of those players, since they still have everything to play for. Nine games on the slate for today, so there are plenty of options at each position. So sit back, read up, and let's win some contests.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/10/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @DFS_Tom.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Jeff Teague - PG, @ PHI ($6,900)

The Pacers are currently sitting in the seventh seed, but they haven't clinched yet. This is almost a dream scenario for them. They need a win, and they are going up against the defensively weak, 76ers. If they can't beat Philly for just one game, well, then maybe they don't deserve to be in the playoffs. Teague has scored 32 DraftKings points or more in four of his last five games. Very consistent from a player who isn't among the big name point guards in the league. Up against the 76ers, who are giving up 46 points per game to point guards. His usage rate isn't the highest, and he is third/fourth for main players, but he is averaging 1.07 fantasy points per minute when he plays. He is getting it done when he is on the court, and now this is the time for him to step up and lock up their playoff spot.

Avery Bradley - SG, vs BKN ($6,100)

Right now it is unclear if any of the playoff teams with spots locked up are going to be resting any players in their final game or two. But even if they do, I can see Bradley getting the start. He missed quite a few games throughout the season, so they might let him get some extra run, just to stay ready for the playoffs. He has scored 27 points or more in three of his last for games. Bradley is up against the Nets who are giving up 43 points per game to shooting guards. There is a tiny bit of a story line here, the Celtics get the Nets pick in this years draft, so if the Nets lose, then they have a better chance at getting the number one pick. I know that is a bit of a stretch, but if the Celtics rest some starters, then Bradley could have a go at it.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Jimmy Butler - SF, vs ORL ($10,500)

Play Jimmy Butler, tonight. Play him, in every lineup. Got it? The Bulls have been trending up the past few weeks, and they are holding down the eight and final spot in the Eastern Conference. Lately, Butler has been playing out of his mind and carrying this team to victories. He has truly shown that he is a star in this league, no matter how mediocre his team is around him. Do whatever you can to fit him in your lineups tonight, no matter what kind of contest you are playing. Butler hasn't scored less than 40 DraftKings points over his last ten games, and I don't see him slowing down now. He is up against the Magic who are giving up 41 points per game to small forwards. We also don't know how much Dwyane Wade is going to be playing, and Butler will see even more usage with Wade off the court.  I see him breaking through that level, and I'm putting him on triple double watch right now. Lock him in tonight.

Thaddeus Young - PF, vs PHI ($5,600)

Young gives you a slight bit of salary savings with a really solid amount of consistency. He has scored 23 points or more in seven straight games, and he has double digit shot attempts in six of those games. So he is getting the chances, and he is converting them. He is also always a threat to get a double double, and up against the 76ers, who give up 45 points per game to power forwards, I say he has a pretty good chance at getting another one tonight. As I mentioned with Teague above, the Pacers are looking to lock up their playoff spot, here in the last few days. So this is a spot for all of the role players on the Pacers to step up and get a win vs Philly.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Hassan Whiteside - C, vs CLE ($8,100)

White side is coming off a 58 point outing vs the Wizards and is looking to continue that trend, as the Miami Heat look to get into the playoffs. Over his last ten games, Whiteside has eight double doubles. That is and unbelievable stretch of games, and he is doing what he can to help his team lock a spot up. He is up against the Cavs, who are in the top half of the league when it comes to guarding centers. But the Cavs starting center, Tristan Thompson is out with an injury, so we expect that defense to decline a bit. I see Whiteside as a great option in cash or GPPs tonight.

Boban Marjanovic - C, vs WAS ($5,000)

Boban is a fan favorite when it comes to DFS. Last season he had some stand out performances, and seemingly gets it done when he is slotted into the starting lineup. He put up 46 DraftKings points on Friday night vs the Rockets. He is some great salary relief to get other big name players into your lineup. There is no confirmation yet, that he will be starting. So be sure to check the starting lineups to see if he is in there.
